24. Frog Garden by Hilary Peterson

Medium: Silk fabric, natural dye, ochre, cotton thread. 

Height: 118 cm 

Artist’s Statement: Frog Garden' investigates the fragility and beauty of some of the nature found in my garden. The natural dyes used are sourced from plants found there with natural ochres adding colour. The presentation of the work reflects on my travels in Japan, referencing scrolls I saw whilst there.
