A Place for Everyone

At COPACC, we want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable when visiting, attending a performance or taking part in an event. We’re committed to making our venue and services as accessible as possible and are always happy to discuss how we can best support your visit.

Wheelchair & Mobility Access

COPACC is a wheelchair accessible venue, with step free access to all areas of the building. The main entrance is accessible via a ramp from the corner of Rae Street and Gellibrand Street.

Wheelchair and limited-mobility seating is available in the Auditorium. When booking tickets, please let our team know if you require wheelchair access, an aisle seat or have difficulty with stairs so we can help find the most suitable seating option.

The Civic Hall is a flat floor space and may be suitable for guests who require easier access.

An accessible, gender-neutral toilet is available in the Public Foyer. Please note that the door is not automated, so our team is happy to assist if required.

Companion Card

COPACC welcomes Companion Cards.

Companion Card holders are eligible for a concession-price ticket, with an additional ticket for their companion at no charge. Please present your Companion Card when purchasing or collecting tickets.

Assistance Animals

Guide dogs and other assistance animals are welcome at COPACC at all times.

Meet & Assist

If you would benefit from assistance when arriving at or moving through the venue, our Meet & Assist service may be available.

Breastfeeding Friendly

COPACC is partners to the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) initiative and have signage on display at the facility.

To qualify for recognition with the ABA as a Breastfeeding is Welcome Everywhere venue, it needs to be publicly and easily accessible for mothers, ensuring they can drop in for spontaneous visits.

Registered venues are also listed on the ABA’s interactive online map which shows Breastfeeding is Welcome Everywhere venues around the country: Your local community | Australian Breastfeeding Association
